I had the privilege of contributing to the design of the
GE HealthCare Art of Care project page. Initially crafted as an exclusive external landing page for Investor Day in December 2022, it was accessible only to employees. The page featured compelling artwork and patient stories, offering a unique glimpse into the experiences of our patients and healthcare community. Notably, some of the showcased artwork highlighted our own employees and their spouses.
During a meeting with stakeholders, my strategist and I were tasked with refining the content, which was notably content-heavy. The objective was to shift the focus to the artwork and transition the page to live on the GEHC website. With six different care areas highlighted, our goal was to curate an immersive experience by removing product-centric content and spotlighting the captivating artwork.
Starting with wireframes in my website design is important to build a strong foundation and create a user-friendly experience. Wireframes act like a blueprint, helping me plan the website's structure and layout before working on the visual design. This way, I can strategically organize elements, map out navigation, and ensure everything functions well. Using wireframes early on allows me to identify and fix potential usability issues and refine the user interface. It's a key step in envisioning the website's structure, making sure the final design not only looks good but also operates smoothly, leading to an efficient and user-focused website.

I collaborated with my team to create a visually appealing and user-centric page.
Our key addition was a hero takeover module at the top, showcasing the main art piece in full-screen glory to captivate users upon landing. We then offer an overview of the entire project, and the utilize an image grid to showcase the beautiful artwork. Using tabbed navigation, users can seamlessly explore the six care areas without navigating to a new page. Within this section, we feature artwork, emphasize systems, outline patient journeys, present statistics, and spotlight the artist paired with the patient, providing a brief background.
