My journey as a Web Experience Designer
Visionworks of America - April 2016–September 2021
During my tenure at Visionworks of America, I held the role of Creative Web Designer within the digital marketing team. My collaboration with the digital and programming teams was focused on developing innovative digital solutions to enhance our users' online and in-store experiences. From participating in research and brainstorming sessions to crafting sketches, wireframes, designs, and prototypes for digital applications, I played a pivotal role in the creative process.
Additionally, I worked closely with the creative team to formulate compelling messaging for both print and digital advertisements, strategically utilized in-store and for external marketing purposes.
Visual Net Design - June 2006–October 2014
During my tenure at VND, I served as both a web and graphic designer, simultaneously taking on the role of leading our creative team consisting of junior designers. Responsibilities included engaging with clients to present creative concepts, collaborating on brainstorming sessions with the creative team, assigning tasks, and actively contributing to the development of web applications from conceptualization to implementation.
I fostered collaboration with both our in-house and remote programming teams to guarantee a seamless transition from the design phase to development. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in quality assurance and testing processes for web applications, ensuring a refined and polished final product presentation to the clients.
While employed at ACA Digital, I held the position of Digital Art Director. In this role, I actively collaborated with both the creative and programming teams to bring to life desktop and mobile web applications, digital and print campaigns, and branding initiatives for our valued partners. My responsibilities encompassed the entire creative process, from initial research and brainstorming through to the creation of sketches, wireframes, designs, and prototypes for digital applications.
Furthermore, I played a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of web applications by assisting in the QA and testing phases before the product launch.
ACA Digital - December 2014–March 2016
GE HealthCare - October 2021–Present
In my current position as Senior Web Experience Designer on the Marketing Digital Experience team at GE Healthcare, my primary responsibility is to collaborate with internal partners in the creation of wireframes and innovative webpage experiences for all 32 global GE Healthcare sites. I actively engage with internal marketing stakeholders to transform business requirements into tangible wireframes and designs.
Moreover, I play a key role in incorporating user insights into webpage designs, introducing new component concepts for A/B testing and development, and evaluating existing pages to propose and implement enhanced user experiences.
