Historically, Alzheimer's disease lacked a disease-modifying therapy. We envision a future where healthcare providers possess the essential tools for early identification, precise diagnosis, optimal treatment selection, accurate organ monitoring, and visualization of disease response. This future hinges on a robust network of healthcare providers collaborating closely with patients and their families to identify Alzheimer's signs even before symptoms manifest. Recognizing this need, GE HealthCare sought a fresh design for an Alzheimer's page with the objective of shedding light on key facts and statistics, raising awareness about the disease, and offering insights into potential disease-modifying treatments.
I collaborated with internal strategists and partners to revamp the Alzheimer's Disease page residing on the GE Healthcare website. Our focus was on highlighting three key categories: Disease and Treatment Discovery, Confident Diagnosis, and Empowered Treatment. This approach ensures that users can seamlessly explore information related to diagnosis, the products utilized, and available treatment options. In addition to incorporating the new brand colors and styles, I infused human-centric and high-quality imagery to vividly convey the narrative our brand embodies.

Starting with wireframes in my website design is important to build a strong foundation and create a user-friendly experience. Wireframes act like a blueprint, helping me plan the website's structure and layout before working on the visual design. This way, I can strategically organize elements, map out navigation, and ensure everything functions well. Using wireframes early on allows me to identify and fix potential usability issues and refine the user interface. It's a key step in envisioning the website's structure, making sure the final design not only looks good but also operates smoothly, leading to an efficient and user-focused website.
